Buying safely on TruStore

TruStore shows only items registered on TruOwn by their current owner. You still meet and pay the seller yourself, so follow these steps every time.

• Meet in public

  Somewhere busy, in daylight if you can. Bring someone with you for anything expensive.

• Match the item

  For phones, dial *#06#. For cars, check the VIN on the dashboard and door frame. It must match the listing.

• Check it on TruOwn

  Enter the number from the item itself on the TruOwn check, not one the seller gives you.

• Pay after the transfer

  Ask the seller to transfer it to you on TruOwn. Pay once the confirmation code reaches your phone and you accept.
